Giving This Another Go

The last attempt at getting the NEW forum going was a failure. The last effort was not very user-friendly. Here we go again. Comments requested.  JG

Whispering Wings Over Burma (Book)

Mayday! If anyone has or knows where I can buy or borrow a copy of the book

“Whispering Wings Over Burma: The Jungle Angels” by Roy F. Kappel

Please let me know, even if you are reading this message long after it has been posted. Roy himself doesn’t even have a bound copy and he can’t seem to find his original manuscript. He self-published it in 1990 and sold most of them through ILPA.

Throttle/firewall Seal

We need to replace the bellows seal that goes on the throttle pushrod where it passes through the firewall. Any suggestions on what to use/how to do it?

Aileron rigging

If we push up or down on an aileron to it’s full travel, it over centers one of the bell cranks and jams the ailerons in that position. You can lightly move the opposite aileron and they will free up. It never jams moving the stick to full aileron, just when you go outside and  move an aileron itself (doesn’t matter which side) to full travel. Has anyone else run into this problem or have suggestions on what might cause this?
