Throttle/firewall Seal

We need to replace the bellows seal that goes on the throttle pushrod where it passes through the firewall. Any suggestions on what to use/how to do it?

  1. The originals are unobtainium, so we used some high quality suade type leather. We made a retainer ring that attaches to the preexisting holes in the firewall that holds the leather in place and at the other end we sewed a loop in the leather and slipped some safety wire in. We twisted the wire tight and now the bellows travels with the linkage rod and works/looks very well. Let me know if you are interested in any pictures etc.
