Posting Comments and Messages

In order to post new messages or leave comments you must be an approved member, otherwise you will be restricted to reading the existing messages. This is to prevent spammers from overloading the forum with impertinent comments and unsolicited advertising.

If you  would like to become an approved forum member, please go to the Sentinel Owners and Pilots Association “Contact Us” page HERE and submit your request.  If you are currently unknown to the L-5 club president and founder Jim Gray or are not a current S.O.P.A. member, please include a short summary of who you are and the reason for your interest in the Stinson L-5. In most cases you should be approved within 48 hours. We look forward to your participation.

Although you may remain anonymous on the forum with a made-up user name, we do need to know your true identity or you will not be approved as a contributor and will not be allowed to post new messages. If you are are L-5 owner you are encouraged to use your aircraft registration number, aircraft serial number, or your real name.

These are the RULES for posting messages:

(1) Please  select a category to post your message in. If you don’t remember to do this it will default to the “General Messages” category.

(2) Please post each of your messages in only one category. If no established category seems appropriate then place it under the “General Messages” heading. If your message is posted in the wrong category, it may later be moved at the webmasters discretion. If it has been posted in multiple categories the redundant posts will be deleted.

(3) If a message is deemed inappropriate it will be summarily deleted without notification. Insulting comments, impertinent off-topic content and  any messages containing foul or derogatory language will not be tolerated. In other words, play nice.

(4) If you want to see a new discussion category added, please let us know by posting a message in the “General Messages” and we will try to accommodate you. It may take some time to set it up, however.
