Want To Buy: 12vdc RCA AVT 112A

G’day L-5 world,

I have an RCA AVT 112A but it is 6 vdc.

I would like to replace it with a 12vdc radio if I can find one. Looking ot buy a 12vdc RCA AVT 112A if you have one for sale.

Hilly: Why not change it over to 12 volt? The manual shows how. Only hitch will be the vibrator. I’m probably going to change over to a solid state one for mine.

G’day Craig,

I had thought of that but have let it drop while we get the aircraft back into the air. I guess I am being a bit slack by buying one – even if I can find one!! Once we are flying again, I will reconsider going down the conversion path.

Solid state sounds like a good idea.
