Hello all!
I’m unable to respond to Matt’s post directly, so I’m posting this here.
For those of us working on the earlier model L-5’s (42-14798 to 42-98606) we use the Type M-2 Flare Pistol, container 41-G-9233 and Holder 41-G-8920. They snap together and make one unit and those fit in the miscellaneous bag 76-63073. See attached photos.
Here are some photos of our setup for our early L-5.
