I probably need a generator for my plane. Anyone got one I could use, buy, so that I can make Oshkosh? I can pull mine off and send it to one of two different repair stations, but chance of getting it back by July 21 or so is shaky at best. I can pull mine and obviously by the end of July have a reworked gen. but if it arrives after around July 22, I can’t make Oshkosh. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. I’m willing to work any situation so that no one loses in the proposition.

I have a spare. Bought it from a repair shop 2 years ago when it looked like mine was DOA. Mine wound up getting repaired and I never unwrapped this one, it is the cabinet waiting for the need. If you want to get it and replace with yours when repaired or return it when you get yours back is fine with me. John

John let me know you information, address, how much you want me to insure it for (I would guess it’s hard to guess value since they’re not on the open market) but $500-$650 would be a wild guess. I will try to confirm my need in the next two days or so, and then if you could send it? I’ll also ask the repair shop if they know a source or estimated value.
