Craig- thank you for congrats, much appreciated. I wasn’t expected any award since this is a “flying restoration” and still a few more items to complete.
I was fortunate to used 2nd Air Commando photos from Nancy Allen Klein who is the daughter of the pilot, William Klein. Cowtown Aerocrafters did the layout and painting to represent her father’s aircraft.
Way to go Charles , Gerry and Lanny!! Sorry I could not hook up with you guys ( Charles and Gerry) at OSH. Shari and I had a screwed up schedule and missed a lot of things. I never even looked at your plane!!!!!!!! The day I wanted to, you had left already !!! So next year.! Bill G, too!
Sam & All- I was also out of pocket most of the days Monday-Wednesday. Nancy Klein was a big hit. Seems like everyone wanted to talk with her about her Father’s exploits! Next year everything should be more calm and we can socialize and relax (I am probably dreaming)!
