We were having problems removing the propeller on my O-435-11 which was leaking oil from the front crankcase / propeller seal. Reviewing the L-5 Erection and Maintenance “-2” Tech Order, we crafted a similar tool using cargo rachet straps and a Hamilton Standard Dome Lifting tool. Inserted a long screwdriver into the prop hub holes and the prop came off easily.
